Summer in Sweden is a big deal.
Summer in Sweden means so much to so many.
Summer in Sweden deserves a party to see it off.

Our plan was simple. Meet for fika. Ride through some of the most beautiful scenery Stockholm has to offer. Party.

After some less-than-successful recon rides, a final route was settled taking us the scenic way out of town through the forests in Nacka Reservatet, then on through some oh-so-Stockholm suburbs before hitting the wonderful sportsgrus roads of Ingarö.

Perfect conditions and great company. Pretty great lunch stop at Café Tornhuset too.

Just 15km to roll after lunch lead us to our venue. A beautiful villa on a lake on Ingarö, an island outside Stockholm.

The brave took a swim. The music went on and the BBQ was fired up. Moments of the ride were lived, podiums of the race season may have been discussed. Our very own rider Klas even hosted a quiz.

Our first event. Our first Summer-send-off. Hopefully many more will follow. Any excuse to get people together for a ride.
